We recently delivered the infrastructure for this residential development for 700 homes for Countryside Properties in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
The project involved the construction of two permanent S278 highway accesses and one temporary access, along with the adoptable S38 internal spine roads, footpaths, significant deep drainage and trenches and ducting for services.
We installed 750mm diameter foul water drainage for the site, which required deep excavations of up to 8m along with extensive temporary works design, including requirements for trench sheets and multiple hydraulic frames, all within a complex and challenging groundwater environment.
Our scope also included the infrastructure for all other areas of the development including an extra care facility, primary school, retail, formal and informal public open space, play facilities, sports pitches, allotments and associated infrastructure including landscaping, highways, footpaths/cycleways, drainage utilities and parking.
