- Materials processing and disposal
- Placement of capping layers
and sub-base - Embankment formation and profiling
Key Achievements
Building successful relationships: We worked extensively with Cormac to discuss opportunities and derisk the projects, and with their designers to ensure designs were buildable. We also worked closely with stakeholders, including Cornwall County Council, contractors and residents to ensure the projects ran smoothly.
Using technology to drive efficiency: We used the latest construction software and hardware to facilitate faster, safer working. Trimble SiteVision provided real-time 3D renderings of our designs so operators could see what needed to be delivered on the ground. Trimble Business Centre, drones and machine telematics delivered accurate site data in real time to facilitate a ‘right first time’ approach.
Protecting the environment: We worked with Cormac and ecologists to ensure the protection of natural habitats, watercourses and vulnerable plant and animal species.
