This week has seen new plant arrive at MJ Church’s Plant and Transport base at Star Farm, Marshfield. Two fully loaded CAT 3203D 20 tonne machines have been added to the fleet of over 20 GPS machines and a further 12 new Volvo excavators, six 14 tonne and six 20 tonnes machines have also been added to the extensive fleet.

Tom Church, Managing Director, Plant and Transport commented, “The new CAT is one of the most technically advanced excavators on the market, with our great in-house surveying team and through advanced operative training, GPS is making a huge difference to efficiency and outputs on all of our civils and earthworks sites. The new Volvo machines arriving throughout the month are being prepped to go to straight to site. These fantastic solid machines are receiving great feedback from the operators, and for us the low-emissions are extremely important as we strive to improve our carbon footprint further.”
