We undertake earthworks, bulk earthworks and off-site disposal across the construction industry including major infrastructure projects on the transport network and site enabling works for commercial, industrial and residential schemes.

MJ Church have vast experience of working on motorway improvement schemes; SMART Motorways; road dueling and improvement project and access road for major residential schemes.

For a complete service to enable construction to proceed, whether it’s for major new residential schemes or urban expansion; commercial, industrial and retail schemes where both brown field and green field sites require major works to enable development to progress. MJ Church are also able to undertake surface car parking and associated landscaping schemes to full completion.

MJ Church has experience and knowledge to deal with the complexity of drainage, SUDs and water management systems required on most construction and civil engineering projects. We are able to effectively manage the planning requirements, ground conditions and environmental requirements associated with many drainage schemes.

Our contracting teams have worked on many of the regions high-profile flood management and mitigation projects. From the Dawlish Rail disaster where teams were on site within 24 hours; and the floods in the Somerset Levels – MJ Church was one of the contractors working to divert river flows following severe flooding in 2013/14.

MJ Church is an AVETTA accredited company and are qualified to work in quarries. Our teams have much experience of earthworks, restoration work, overburden strip works, and wall stabilisation. With our own fleet of heavy plant, such as 50 tonnes excavators and 40 tonnes dump trucks, we are able to mobilise for projects across the South of the country.
