Mark Hucklebridge 15th October 1978 – 15th March 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our family member, colleague and friend Mark yesterday. Mark was nephew to Mike and Paula, cousin to Lisa, Tom and Jess.
Mark was a huge part of their lives, particularly with motorcross, where as a professional rider they travelled the world together. When Mark hung up his boots he joined MJ Church as Used Equipment Sales Manager. Mark had many friends in the company and could often be seen in the canteen at Star Farm.
In November 2010 Mark was diagnosed with cancer, unfortunately the prognosis was not good. Mark fought the disease with every means possible, no stone left unturned and no avenue left alone in trying to beat the cancer. He bravely went through many years of chemotherapy and painful operations but was still determined to live life to the full. He still rode a motorcross bike whenever possible and also set up the Friends of Huck charity which raises money for cancer charities and seriously injured sports people.
Sadly, yesterday Mark lost the battle. It is a sad time for all at MJ Church. We send our heartfelt condolences to Emma and Charlie, his wife and son.
Rest in peace Mark, you will be truly missed.
